4. Machine Clip Inserts
We developed special milling base materials graded GY83 and GY87,
which have remarkable toughness and excellent wear resistance
especially matching with preferred PVD composite coating by using
the addition of tombarthite elements and a special sintering
processing. The materials are mainly used in milling of
high-temperature alloys, titanium, stainless steel, turbine blades
and other difficult-to-machine materials. This kind of coating with
a high resistance to flank wear and crater wear when milling
stainless steel.
